Lars Larsen Group delivers a record result in both revenue and result in the financial year 2019/20. When comparing to 2018/19, revenue was up by 9 percent to DKK 35.6 billion, and profit after tax by 8.6 percent to DKK 3.2 billion. We are very satisfied with the result which has been achieved despite unusual circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is the financial highlights for the Group.
Lars Larsen Group is owned by the Brunsborg family, descendants of JYSK founder Lars Larsen. Lars Larsen Group is not a legal group, but is defined as a number of groups and entities owned by the Brunsborg Family and Lars Larsens JYSK Fond.

Primary Brand Focus
The backbone of the Group is JYSK, which was founded by Lars Larsen in 1979. JYSK´s payoff is "Scandinavian Sleeping and Living". JYSK is offering customers everything for house and garden.
Revenue in 2019/20 amounts to mDKK 30,438 compared to mDKK 28,315 in 2018/19. Profit before tax in 2019/20 amounts to mDKK 3,648 compared to mDKK 3,176 in 2018/19.
Lars Larsen Group Companies
The Group owns a number of subsidiaries mostly working within production or selling of furniture.
Revenue in 2019/20 amounts to mDKK 5,086 compared to mDKK 4,287 in 2018/19. Profit before tax in 2019/20 amounts to mDKK 64 compared to mDKK 97 in 2018/19.
The Group investments consists of fixed income, listed equities, private equities, infrastructure, real estate and other investments.
Revenue in 2019/20 amounts to mDKK 124 compared to mDKK 109 in 2018/19. Profit before tax in 2019/20 amounts to mDKK 449 compared to mDKK 370 in 2018/19.
